The International Project Management Association (IPMA) has added Costa Rica’s Asociación de Dirección de Proyectos (ADIPRO) to its growing network of global project management bodies.
ADIPRO’s application for membership was unanimously approved by the the IPMA Council of Delegates at its recent meeting in Latvia.
Costa Rica’s delegate, ADIPRO president Yuri Kogan, thanked the council for its approval and also mentioned the Asociación Española de Ingeniería de Proyectos (AEIPRO), Organo de Certificación en Dirección de Proyectos (OCDP) and Dr Jesús Martínez Almela, head of the IPMA Latin American and Caribbean Countries (LACC) project as instrumental in ADIPRO’s application to IPMA.
“We are so proud to be a part of the organisation which has a great prestige in the world of professional project management. It is our window to Europe and other parts of the world,” said Kogan, before outlining ADIPRO’s strategy for the future with regard to certification, education, awards, research and standards.
