Australian project management company Protegic has announced its gold level sponsorship of the Melbourne chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the global professional organisation dedicated to the advancement of project management excellence through professionalism.

“We’re very excited to begin a new chapter for Protegic with PMI,” said David Thompson, CEO of Protegic. “The Melbourne Chapter events are great forums for project management professionals to learn essential elements of succeeding in business and networking with other professionals as well as offering project management courses to help our people prepare for their PMI credential examinations and to enhance their project management skills, knowledge and performance.”

The partnership is a natural step for the fast-growing company, which is keen to distinguish itself through project management professionalism. “In a relatively short period of time, Protegic has performed exceptionally well in establishing itself as a leader in project management with a blue chip clientele and an expanding geographic base,” said Thompson.

The independent Australian-owned management consulting company specialises in project management, advisory and delivery services. Its customer base includes medium to large organisations within the government, mining and resources, defence, health, finance, infrastructure, manufacturing and services sectors.

“Protegic supports organisations to drive strategy and business improvement through the application of common sense and best practice project management,” Thompson added.
