Property industry on track for life cycle
The Property Industry Foundation’s (PIF) Annual Charity Cycling Challenge ‘Tour de PIF’ returns for yet another year on Sunday 13 September, aiming to raise more than $300,000 for at risk and homeless youth.
With major sponsor GPT Group and supporting sponsors HDR Rice Daubney, KPMG, Northrop and Taylor, Tour de PIF encourages the property and construction industries to get involved.
All proceeds raised going towards PIF House, which provides homeless adolescents across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with safe and supportive environments to make positive changes to their lives.
“We are excited to host Tour de PIF again and overwhelmed with the growing participation. The event encourages healthy competition between corporates with an underlying sense of compassion for those less fortunate,” said Rosemary Smithson, national CEO of PIF.
Last year’s event raised more than $250,000. This year, funds raised will go towards building a third PIF House in Western Sydney for 24 young people and will include providing the support needed to gain workplace skills and employment.
PIF works together with property and construction industry professionals to fund the construction of these houses and raise funds for operational costs such as maintenance and staff.
Registrations for Tour de PIF are now open. For more information see www.tourdepif.com.au
