The Building Products Innovation Council (BPIC) and the Federal Government have completed a three-year project to compile Life Cycle Inventory data for Australian building materials.

According to BPIC, the Building Products Life Cycle Inventory will assist lifecycle assessment practitioners and others in the construction industry—from architects and project managers to engineers and developers—to more accurately assess the impact building products and buildings have on the environment.

BPIC are running a free seminar for interested building industry professionals who want to learn about this important tool for Life Cycle Assessment and more effectively respond to government initiatives to improve the environmental impact of the built environment.
