Change and a holiday
They say change is as good as a holiday, but they don’t say what happens when you combine change and a holiday.
The change
I am very pleased to announce that Loyalty Media has sold ProjectManager.com.au to… me. That’s right, in addition to being the founding editor I am now the publisher of this website. There’ll be a transition period that will involve some redesign and tweaking, but my aim will be the same—to provide you, the reader, with news and views on project management from around Australia and the world.
Now is your chance to tell me how you would improve this site:
- What do you like?
- What do you dislike?
- What would you like to see more of?
- What would you like to see less of?
Comment below and I’ll take your feedback on board.
The holiday
Before I get on with my new role as publisher, I’m taking a break for a couple of weeks so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see any new articles coming up for the rest of the year. I’ve told my regular contributors to hold off until we get the new design sorted, which will give everyone a breather over the Christmas/New Year period. This means our fortnightly newsletter will be on hiatus until January also. Don’t miss me too much!
An apology
And finally, an apology to all those interviewees and contributors who haven’t yet seen themselves on the site, an apology that extends (but unfortunately is not limited) to: Ross Garland, Evan Leybourn, Godfrey Boyd, Deven Billimoria, Andrew (James) Leicester, Steve Milner and Jed Simms.
The calibre of those project management experts should be a teaser of what’s to come in the new year. Watch this space.
And now, I fly across the Tasman.
