Experts from some of the world’s most successful companies will converge in New Zealand for the Asia-Pacific Lean Business and Accounting Summit, to be held in Auckland over 12-13 April 2011.

The summit will focus on the lean business model and the competitive advantages it offers to organisations, headed by leading experts in the field Bill Waddell, Jean Cunningham, Brian Maskell, Dean Schroeder, and Jim Huntzinger—all noted practitioners, speakers, authors, and consultants. Collectively, these experts have served companies like Coca Cola Enterprise, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, IBM, Kodak and the US Postal Service.

While accounting forms a large part of the lean business model, the summit expects to attract C-level executives as well as plant operations and production managers, quality and process managers and supply chain and logistics managers. It is also an ideal place for project managers to understand lean principles, which can be applied to resourcing for individual projects.
