The Project Management Australia Conference, known as PMOz, will celebrate a decade of thought leadership at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne on 17-18 September 2013 with a program themed ‘Projects Driving and Sustaining the Future of the Australian Economy’.

The conference is designed to honour the central role project plays in the development of every organisation, and therefore the economy at large.

“A successful economy needs successful businesses and no business can succeed without changing and adapting to meet the challenges of the future,” says conference producer Justin Holsinger.

The program contains three sub-themes, focused on the role program, portfolio and project management plays in the processes used by governments, businesses and other organisations to implement their strategy, increase wealth (both social and economic) and craft a sustainable future.

In two days more than 40 expert speakers, ranging from former rugby player now renowned author and columnist Peter FitzSimons and Olympian Holly Crawford to complex project management expert Stephen Hayes and management specialist Tony Gleeson, will show conference delegates how the future is shaped by projects.
