The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) has finalised its candidates for the association’s biennial presidential election.

In line with its constitution, candidate statements were released yesterday for the 2011 election of the institute’s national president and its three national directors.

Outgoing AIPM national president Dr Bill Young has held the position for the maximum two terms (four years), which means the AIPM will certainly see a new president join recently appointed CEO Sheryle Moon at the helm.

Three nominations have been received for the top role, with six candidates named for the three director positions.

The ballot closes on 19 September 2011. Ballot papers have already been sent to members for voting.
